The history of Urdu essay is very rich. To promote this genre the efforts of Molvi Zakaullah, Master Raam chandar, Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, Muhammad Husain Azad, Sheikh Abdul Qadir, Abul kalaam Azad, Abdul Majid Darya Abadi, Sajjad Ansari, Falak Paima, Majnoon Gorakpuri, Firaq Gorukpoori and many others could not be ignored in this regard .The female writers also wrote dozens of Urdu essays for the betterment and improvement of the social status of women. In this research paper the researchers has shed light on the efforts and contributions of women writers i.e Tayyiba Begum, Khajesta Akhtar Soheravordi, Khajest Sultana Begum, Rabia Begum, Paadshah Begum Sufi, Latif Un Nisa Begum, Qaisari Begum, Ummat ul Hameed Khanum, Ummat ul wahi, Ummat Ul karim and Ummat ul Aziz Begum for the promotion of Urdu essay. |
