Abstract
|
Ghazal is a prominent characteristic of both Urdu and Hindko poetry. Hindko Ghazal imitates Urdu ghazal's theme, Haitian, and artistic merits. Indeed, Hindko language is older in age than Urdu, but its poetic literature succeeds Urdu language poetry. Hindko Ghazal culture owes its popularity to the seasoned poets of Urdu Ghazal. Due to which rules and traditions of Urdu Ghazal were largely copied on as-is basis into Hindko Ghazal. This fact enhanced the quality of Hindko Poetry, and helped it rise as a well-known genre of Hindko literature. Hence, this phenomenon illustrates that there is a clear basis for research work into the commonalities of Hindko and Urdu Ghazal. |
