Russian afghan war 1979 was very distressful in the history of mankind. It compelled millions of population to migrate on both sides of Durand line. Thousands of people killed during the war and after on the name of Jehad or civil war. More than seventy thousands innocent people mostly Pukhtoons were killed in the bomb blasts and target killings. This war along with 43 years consequences affected the themes and diction of Urdu Nazam. In this research paper the researchers have explained the themes and style of Urdu nazam of Abrar salik and Dr Izhar ullah Izhar in the background of Russian Afghan war and its consequences. |
