Abstract

Ashar Najmi is a famous novelist of India. His novel Joker was published in 2022. In this article, research review of the novel Joker has been taken at poetics level. The main theme of the novel is the scheme to play sexual activity. The text of the novel also presents a story of moral crisis. The game was planned, the game was played, the game was enjoyed, and the game was disappointed. Playing with the text of the novel, the reader sees the sparks of India's thousand years of civilization flying under the surface of the language. This study attempts to show cultural, social and moral influence on the language and as a result poetics of the area is formed which shape literary writings.
