The Philistine's resistance: in the perspective of Urdu Novel

Abstract

The land of Palestine is one of the most ancient regions of the world which was occupied by Israeli forces in 1967. Due to Israeli barbarism the Palestine issue effected every sensitive person and the literary society also could not remain uneffected by it. Due to this reason, the Palestine issue was made primary or secondary theme in several genres of literature. Pakistani novelists have also portrayed the resistive trends of Palestinian Muslims against Israeli barbarism in their novels. In this context Mustansar Hussain Tarar's "Rakh", Salma Awan's "Lahu ka Raang Phalestine" and Hassan Manzar's "Haabs" have been included in this article.
