Abstract

Both Changezi and Khatir Afridi are well known poets of Pashto and Urdu literature respectively. Both these poets have a strong conviction on the day of judgement.It is just because of this concept that in the poetry of these poets, we always find the belief about life and death. Both Changezi and Khatir Afridi give away due significance to the worldly life, however, they share a common belief that life stands as a trust to death. They are involved in the intricasies of life but merely spending life does not seem a good ploy to them rather they urge their readers to yield something great through endeavours and spirit of adventure. |
