Shahida Latif is the life partner of Abdul Hafiz, a highly esteemed senior lawyer at the Supreme Court. In their loving family, they are blessed with one daughter and four sons. These days, she resides in Islamabad. She possesses exceptional expertise in Urdu Literature. She excels as a poet, accomplished writer, seasoned journalist, patriot historian, highly skilled travelogue writer, and proficient translator. She held the esteemed position of Chief Editor at Mahnama Overseas International in Islamabad. Shahida Latif has described this Mahnama as a usurper of Pakistan, characterized by its literary and cinematic nature. For 22 years, she dedicated herself to the field of journalism, and in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the profession, she was bestowed with the highest honor. Additionally, she received awards on both national and international levels, and her remarkable achievements led Jamiludin Aali to bestow upon her the title of a national poet. |
