Abstract

Salim Ahmad is considered to be the most controversial critic in the history of Urdu criticism. His creative criticism opened a new dimension of discussion. We can disagree with his thoughts but his questions can not be denied. He also raised many questions on the thought of Iqbal in his book “Iqbal ak shair”. At the same time he also expressed his critical views on Meer, Ghalib, Hali and Akbar Alabadi. Akbar influenced his views about the revival of old muslim civilization. This article is the comparative study of the thought of Akbar Alabdi and Iqbal about free Muslim’s state to safeguard Muslim’s civilization.
