Abstract

The range of topics of Urdu literature is quite broad. Urdu poets and writers added various genres to Urdu literature. They presented social and religious values in several ways. Islam is a universal religion. It has a supreme law for human values. Its universal teachings inspired people all over the world. Muslim scholars and writers presented Islamic values in their religious devotion, but it is also interesting that many non-Muslim writers also took a deep interest in the study of Islamic teachings. We can divide the non-Muslim poets and writers who were attracted to Islamic teachings into two groups. One group among them is those whose work was to increase their status by highlighting only defects from Islamic teachings and to undermine the reputation of Islam. on the other hand, there are numerous impartial scholars and writers who have not only recognized the true sense of Islam they also took advantage of inspiring teachings of Islam and made them part of his creations. Of course, these efforts of non-scholars are commendable and their work is therefore more useful. That it provides an opportunity for non-Muslims to understand the religion of Islam in detail by bringing them closer to Islamic thoughts. In this article, these attributes of non-Muslims have been highlighted in detail.
