Abstract

Dr. Iqbal was a poet with a far reaching vision and deep insight whose thinking enlightened the man of different times of the states of humanity. All his teachings are focused on elevating humanity and establishing on Islamic state. He kept a watchful eye on the exploitation of the Muslim Ummah and ever increasing infiltration attempts of westerns imperialism. He wishes to come up with an action plan that would free Muslims of all the peachicaments that they were concocting at the time. He always dreams of establishing an Islamic state for the renaissance of Islamic glory. For this reason he was use the world millat frequently in his poetry. He has been a great advocate of “Ijtihad” for establishing a strong Islamic state in the present time. For this reason he looks for the solution of religious, economiceal, political and social issues in Ijtihad. In this article the possibility of establishing and Islamic welfare state will be in the light of Iqbal’s ideology of Ijtihad |
