Abstract

In Islam, the oneness of God is referred to as "Tawhid". Tawhid has been a vital force throughout history, but nowadays it has been reduced to merely a theological topic. Allama Iqbal, a renowned poet, political activist, and religious philosopher, still holds significant influence with his thoughts. As a religious thinker, he extensively discussed the concept of Tawhid in his poetry and prose, providing a concise explanation. This article aims to explore and define the ideas and premises presented by Iqbal regarding this concept. The study's findings reveal that Iqbal's concept of Tawhid is not only a fundamental tenet of Islam but also essential for human beings and the world at large. Allama Iqbal's approaches and concepts on this topic differ significantly from those of other poets, philosophers, and intellectuals, which are elaborated in this article.
