Travelogue is the genre of literature Which is emerging in an advanced form. As techniques are being experimented with in other genres of Urdu literature۔ One of these techniques is the flashback technique. In which the author relies on his memories. This technique has also been adopted in Urdu travelogue. Mumtaz Mufti's travelogue “Hindyatra” is also written under the flashback technique. We see that Mumtaz Mufti with the help of memories of the past in his travelogue, narrates the long history of the rise and fall of the Muslims of the subcontinent. |
