Abstract

This article presents an analytical study of the concepts and trends of Iqbal’s sermons. Iqbal’s sermons have made it easier to understand Iqbal’s thought in prose. The study of these sermons reveals various aspects of Iqbal are thought. “Iqbal’s Sermons” makes it possible to access important sources of Iqbal’s consciousness, mental, psychological, religious and philosophical ideas. Here is a research and critical review of important works in the context of Iqbal’s sermons. These writings have tried to highlight Iqbal’s sermons in common, comprehensible, easy and simple Urdu language. These sermons were Iqbal’s intellectual masterpieces. In his sermons, he presented the study of Islam and modern philosophy of science in a comparatively analytical manner. The sermons try to bring together the comparative, harmonious trends of philosophy, religion and science. The sermons describe the logical, philosophical, wise, religious, psychological, social and scientific way of thinking in a scientific way. The study of Iqbal’s sermons is very important to understand the nature and meaning of Iqbal’s thought. In the article under review, the nature and meaning of the sermons as well as the important sources have been reviewed. |
