Abstract

Qurrat-ul-Ain Haider is one of the most outstanding, influential literary Urdu fiction writers. She is known for her novels, short stories, and academic writings. She was something unique that happened to urdu literature.Her literary works include twelve novels and novellas and four collection of short stories.The fourth novel in Qurrat-ul-Ain Haider's literary work was Akhir-e-Shab Ke Humsafar (A novel on the Naxalite Movement and Bengal unrest) was published in 1979. In the novel with utmost ease she narrated the harsh realities of life. A complete summary of the novel by the author will be presented in this article. The article would illustrate how, with confidence, she successfully explained to her readers the complicated issues of politics, history, economics, and culture. |
