Abstract

Literature interprets human life. The responsibility of shaping and creating human life is also included in the duties of literature. All the genres of literature reflect human life in their own way. Narratives are also included in these genres. The Urdu language is among the languages which have a collection of narratives. Narratives in the form of the story give a practical message to man to deal with life. The love of the story is in human nature. Consequently, when compared to other genres, the narrative offers the most effective means of conveying a useful message to people. The narrative's scope is undoubtedly limited when compared to other fictional genres, yet the reader is intrigued by it anyway because of how thorough it is. For researchers, the answer to who wrote the first story in Urdu and whether the first story was arranged (in poetry) or prophecy (in prose) is still a mystery. Of course, the future researcher will be able to find it. Urdu is full of pearls of arranged and prophecy stories .The influence of Arabic and Persian on Urdu is more than on other languages. The social and moral effects of stories are more than other genres.
