Abstract

By the close reading of some early Urdu traveler texts in the context of colonialism, we understand that how colonizer established then sustained and strengthened their cultural project of control in Hindustan, then the reaction of colonized was not in single form but heterogeneous. Its heterogeneity could be understood through the Theory of “Hybridity”. The concept of Hybridity could be understood by the critical thoughts of Robert. J. C young and Home K Bhabha as well. |
